These terms apply when you use humus.ke and the goAML demo, both run by Humus Technologies Limited ("Humus", "we", "us"). By using them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Information on this site

The site gives general information about Humus and our products. It is not legal, compliance or financial advice. Reporting rules set by Kenya's Financial Reporting Centre and under the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act change over time, so always check the official sources and take advice from your own compliance and legal advisers.

The goAML demo

The demo is a proof of concept. It uses fictional sample data and illustrative lookup codes, and it has not been validated against the Financial Reporting Centre's official schema. Its output is for demonstration only and must not be filed with the Financial Reporting Centre or used for any regulatory purpose. The demo may contain errors and is provided as it is. We recommend you do not enter real customer information into it.

Our products and services

Using goAML Reporter or any other Humus product or service is governed by a separate written agreement. Nothing on this site is an offer, a quotation or a promise of particular results.

Not affiliated with the FRC or UNODC

goAML is a software system of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) that Kenya's Financial Reporting Centre uses to receive reports. Humus is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for UNODC or the Financial Reporting Centre.

Intellectual property

The content, design, logo and demo code on this site belong to Humus Technologies Limited or its licensors. You are welcome to view the site and to share links to it. You may not copy, republish, resell or bulk-collect our content, design or code without our written permission.

Acceptable use

Please do not use the site to break the law, to interfere with or test the security of the site without our permission, or to try to reach anything that is not meant to be public.

Links to other sites

The site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Our responsibility

We provide the site and the demo as they are, and we do not promise that they will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that arise from using them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may change the site, the demo or these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when these terms were last updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
